Assortment of Half-timber (Tudor) Buildings
Assortment of Half-timber (Tudor) Buildings
An older collection of builds (made in 2018!), Glov’s half-timber frame (aka Tudor) buildings still hold up as a favorite for this style. Although these were made long before a great deal of models were introduced to Conquest Reforged, such as the 3d beams that now dominate many half-timber buildings, Glov’s loose reconstructions of sites scattered throughout German regions strike a lovely balance between simplicity and detail.
The red timber-framed building is inspired by Altes Haus In Bacharach. The building covered in yellow plaster is based on Das Plönlein in Rothenburg. Next, the regular white plastered half-timber building is based on a house in Colmar, France (found in the region Alsace, which is historically a Germanic area). The main image also features a tower from the Marienplatz in Munich.
