General Forum Rules

Conquest Reforged is a diverse, family-friendly Minecraft community. Communicating with your fellow players is an important part of connecting with our community. We are proud to have players of all ages and from many different countries and beliefs. Keep the conversation civil and appropriate for everyone.

All rules that are listed in this thread apply to all areas of the Conquest Reforged Community. This includes the Conquest Reforged servers, Discord, and forums.

All users are required to read and follow these rules to avoid the punishment of being kicked or temp/perm banned. Anyone caught breaking or bypassing our rules will be dealt with accordingly. If we don’t think you are a benefit to our community and are degrading our server, we reserve the right to do as we please with you. This rule is only to be used in rare occurrence and is only enforced after being considered by the highest of our staff.

These rules are subject to change without notice. All rules found on this thread can be applied where applicable.


1. Do Not Disrespect or Argue Staff
The staff are here to help the community, our helpers and moderators are normal players and may not be able to assist you instantly when asked. Please be patient when asking for help and you will be assisted as soon as a staff member can help you. All decisions made by the Conquest Reforged staff team are considered final. Please do not argue with a judgment made by one of our staff members. If you feel a member of staff is being abusive, please contact the administration team on the forums or message them privately. You should never argue with staff members publicly.

2. Do Not Disrespect Players
Every member deserves to be treated with respect. Positive and polite posts create a friendly and welcoming environment that all members will feel comfortable in. When responding to threads, remember to reply respectfully with the rules and guidelines in mind.

3. No Advertising
Any attempt to advertise a server is illegal, advertising indirectly by advertising a link or a stream that is advertising a different server is also illegal. Do not post any IP address or server domain names which can be used to connect to a server. Do not post the IP of other Discord or TeamSpeak servers. Do not attempt to advertise for self-interest, advertising of personal websites or products to purchase is illegal. We may remove threads which violate the rule.

The exception to the rule: We have a section on the forums where you are able to post your Youtube, Twitch and other channels. However, if these links contain any advertisement for different servers, etc., they will be removed and you may face a ban. All links posted to external websites must be approved by a staff member before it will become visible. Any unlawful content posted will result in a warning, temporary ban, or permanent forum ban. NOTE: Referrals and begging are not allowed.

4. Do Not Spam
A pretty straight forward rule, any repetition of messages in a short amount of time and continuous repetition over longer spans of time is punishable. Excessive use of symbols, capital letters, colors, etc., is also included in this rule. Spam of any type is not permitted, which includes full CAPS for in-game usernames. The minimal requirement for it to be classified as spam includes, but is not restricted to, the posting of same or similar messages consecutively, a repetitive number of times within the space of a few or more seconds. Messages comprising of all, or a large amount of, caps are also considered spam. Spam on the forums will not be tolerated, spamming posts or threads will either get you suspended or banned from the Forums. Do not excessively bump threads, or create multiple identical threads. If you would like to add more information to your posts, please use the EDIT option.

5. No Racism, Offensive Language, Harassment, or Trolling
As a diverse family-friendly community we, so unsightly behavior including racism, offensive language, harassment, or trolling of other players is prohibited. This also includes the naming of ‘pets’. Profane or offensive pet names will not be tolerated. There is no swearing within our Community, period; words such as “damn” or “crap” are fine but please avoid bypassing filters or taking advantage of these relaxed filters; this includes spelling swear words with *’s or deliberately misspelling words with symbols or numbers, and/or abbreviations, and/or using different word in the same context. Trolling of any kind is not tolerated, this can include pranks or “jokes”. Insulting or provoking others even subliminally will not be tolerated, please respect others. If you’re angry with a decision, please use the report feature or contact a staff member. We may remove or lock threads of which the sole purpose is to publicly complain, shame, or rage in any way.

6. Do Not use Offensive Usernames
Usernames that could be considered offensive like sexual topics, bad words or distasteful are forbidden. If you don’t follow that rule you will be permanently banned from the server. Please don’t forget that we want a family friendly community.

7. Do Not Release Potentially Harmful Information
Do not release information on how to do an exploit or anything that could potentially harm the server. Viruses and malware are forbidden, any intentional distribution of either will be handled accordingly. If you want to let the staff know you may report the issue to our staff.

8. Do Not Misuse Alt Accounts
Only one forum account is allowed per user. Using a secondary account to evade bans, punishments, misrepresent a topic, self-rep or encourage misinformation is not allowed.

9. Do Not Impersonate or “Pretend to be Someone”
Impersonating a player, especially Conquest Reforged staff, is a serious offense, as we do not take this lightly. If you witness someone impersonating a player or staff member, please contact staff as soon as possible. Impersonating to be staff on the forums is not allowed, please do not trick someone to think you are able to do something that you can’t.

You can recognize staff members by looking at their tags:

Moderators will have the orange [Moderator] prefix.
Administrators will have a black [Admin] prefix.

10. Do Not Ban Evade
Pretty straight forward, do not evade forum bans, if you wish to appeal you may send your appeal to our staff.

11. Do Not Post Private Messages (PM) or Personal Information
Do not post any private messages. PMs should remain private. Posting them on the boards may result in a ban of your account privileges (especially if it is posted in an attempt to flame or belittle someone). Posting someone’s private information is also prohibited. “Private information” is defined by anything that is PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE, such as: Skype names, IP addresses, family information, Facebook pages, phone numbers etc. If you have any doubt if rather what you are about to post is personal information, contact staff before posting.

12. Do Not Post Inappropriate Content
Do not post disturbing links, pornography, shock links or anything that may be deemed inappropriate. We choose whether or not the content is inappropriate, do not post questionable content without asking a staff member beforehand.

13. No Abuse of Rating System
Do not spam like your friends or your own account. Rating farming and abuse of the rating system will result in a removal of all ratings given to the afflicted users, removal of all accumulated ratings, removal of permissions to give ratings, and/or serve a possible temporary/permanent forum ban.

14. No Real Life Currency Trades in Chat
Do not post threads that offer a trade for real currency, gift cards, etc. We allow trade between games i.e. trading steam items for in-game items or cash on the forums ONLY, do not link to these threads from in game. We do not allow trading of accounts, real life currency, gift cards, anything that’s real at all in-game or on forums. If you wish to do such trades, you may do so outside of our server. If you wish to trade out of game items for a donation make sure you record evidence of the trade. If there is a problem the person who donated will be refunded unless proper evidence of item transfer is provided. Any threads posted will be deleted if they were created before the revision of this rule. We are not responsible for any loss of currency. Advertisement for such trades is illegal also, do not post advertisement threads that say “message me for details” etc.

15. Do Not Edit a Post Edited by a Staff Member
If your post has been edited by one of our staff members, do not edit this post. Posts will only be edited by staff if violates Conquest Reforged Rules and Guidelines.

Penalties: Violation of these rules will result in you being jailed, temporarily banned, or permanently banned depending on how severe the offense was.


1. Read the Community Guidelines, Forum Rules, and FAQ Before Posting Any Questions
Before posting any questions, be sure to read our Community Guidelines and FAQ sections. If you have a question, be sure to use the SEARCH option first, as your question may have been asked by other users already.

2. Post Your Questions/Threads in the Appropriate Sections
Posting any questions/threads be sure to post in the appropriate and relevant sections of the forums, as this will ensure topics are seen by members most interested in the subject. If you’re unsure where to post, feel free to ask a fellow user or a member of the staff team. NOTE: Topics posted in the wrong section will be moved by moderators.

3. Keep All Discussion in Threads Related to Topic
This comes under common sense. Keep discussion of threads related to the topic and do not spam or derail any threads.

4. Use English Only
While our Communities welcome people of all language, English is the official language of our community, as it is the common language between our admins, staff, and members. Because we cannot moderate conversations in a foreign language, you may not hold a public conversation in a language other than English.
